A Comparison of CRP Detection by latex Method and TIA Method

Abstract
|
|
|
To evaluate the latex agglutination for CRP two latex method kits(A and B) and TIA were used for clinical usefulness.
Latex A and B showed very high agreement as 94%(47/50). Latex method and TIA method showed 90%.
The 3 case of disagreement showed 2 cases of negative reaction and 1 case of positive reaction by TIA quantitative method.
There was no significant difference between latex A and latex B kits.
TIA method is recommended for the estimation of disease degree.
